It’s a favorite area for snowmobiling with 65 miles of trails groomed by the Northeast King Snow Blasters snowmobile club, many of which connect with other VAST Vermont trails to provide a long, satisfying ride that can keep you on your snowmobile for most of the day. It’s also home of Pond Island, known as the “Snowmobiling Capital of Vermont.” Snowmobiling is a way of life in this area, and many residents are welcoming and willing and eager to share their knowledge with fellow snowmobile enthusiasts.
