With gently rolling hills, lush forests, and sparkling waters the area cannot fully disguise a land formed by continental glaciers and massive mineral extraction. There are 26 miles of trails in the north and west sections of the 16,725-acre park, which is centered around the 225-acre Lake Arthur with its 42 miles of shoreline.
