Lewis and Clark Recreation Area
This 864-acre State Recreation Area located on the southern shore of Lewis and Clark Lake in northeastern Nebraska offers 5 miles of snowmobiling adventures trails during the winter months.
With Nebraska’s second largest reservoir, this recreation area straddles the state’s northeast border with neighboring state South Dakota. The lake gets its name from the Lewis and Clark expedition, a historic U.S.Military expedition led by Captain Meriwether Lewis and Lieutenant William Clark that explored the Louisiana Purchase and the Pacific Northwest.
