Weaving through sandy hardwood bottoms, beautiful pine upland forest, stream crossings, and sandstone bluffs, the area gives off-road adventurers the chance to challenge hilly terrain alongside spectacular views of the longleaf pine forest, white sand shoreline, and rocky rapids. Elevation reaches 2165 feet.

Vernon Enduro Multi-Use Trail: a 45-mile trail system that loops through pine upland forest combining flat and twisty terrain. Many trails are hard-packed and good for beginning riders, though subject to sandy patches, and when it rains, mud pits. Elevation ranges from 200 to 300 feet. Three trail loops, one exclusively for motorcycles.
