Grand Lake
With more than 300 miles of snowmobile trails, including 150 miles of groomed trails, this area offers some of the best snowmobiling in Colorado, and has in fact received well-deserved, national recognition for its outstanding snowmobiling from Snowest Magazine and America’s Best Online (to name just two.) Located on the western edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake is adjacent to the largest natural lake in the state, also called Grand Lake. The area is very snowmobile-friendly – snowmobiles can even get the right of way on the streets when it snows here. You may find it difficult to decide whether the views of the Continental Divide, the Arapaho National Forest, or the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park are most impressive. But regardless, you win!
